I had fun watching this movie. This take on the fairy tales is closer to the truth then you can possible imagine. When will the follow up come? There are more fairy tales and Egyptian myths out there just begging to be told. Like the ancient Egyptian creation myth. You should read that one.

Fairy Tales the way they should be
Being a fairy tale collector and a horny git, this was a perfect combination for me. Good for a night by myself or with my man. I found the stories interesting and sexy. Certainly not a low budget film either.

Flop for Film Collectors
Serious collectors should probably pass on this one. Summed up...unimaginative, boring, and definitely not worth the asking price. Randy Spears as the pied piper COULD have been funny... IF they had given him any speaking lines! This is the retelling of the usual fairy tales with virtually no dialogue. It is narrated. I gave up bedtime stories years ago. We got so bored we turned it off after the first few scenes. It might make a nice free gift, but otherwise pass on this one.

We both liked it.
My wife and I both enjoyed this one quite a bit. The breaks between the stories sometimes stretched a little long for me, but my wife enjoyed all of the storytelling elements. We were a little disappointed that the Cinderella scene got cut from the movie itself, since we were looking forward to that story.
